We went to our friend's Julee and Gordon's beautiful home for a BBQ a couple weeks ago. It wasn't just any BBQ. Gordon grilled quail. It tasted just like chicken, in fact they looked like miniture cornish hens. They were cute in a dead meat kind of way. Great food, and even better company. We all had a great time. Julee's sister, Jennifer was visiting from Chicago. Just to show you that we live in a small world. We got talking and discovered that both our families had cabins in the same tiny town, Willow River in northern MN growing up.
