MeMaw And Her Granddaughters

MeMaw first held Josie and everything was sugar and spice and everything nice. Then Lexie and Izzie hopped on MeMaw's lap too. Josie was not having it. As far as she was concerned, it was her MeMaw. Cute picture nonetheless.

Open Wide

This was the cutest thing ever! Izzie was feeding Josie her pizza. Josie thought the pizza or the fact that Izzie was feeding her was the best thing since sliced bread. I have a feeling this broke all of Danita's 'germ rules' but even she thought this single moment was too cute to disturb.

Our Family Hydro Circus

Pool time is always more fun when Dane is in the pool. He just puts on a great show! Between the flips and the flops, Isabelle and cousin, Matthew got in on the action. My favorite is when Matthew had Izzie on his back and then got on Dane's back. Izzie was very excited to stand on Daddy's shoulders with no hands.

Look! No Wings!

Today, was a very exciting day...it was Alexis' first time swimming without the help of the blow-up arm wings. Daddy gave her first swimming instruction. She did great, she tread water and swam (doggie paddle style) across the pool. Go Lexie-Poo!!

Its Playground Time!

We met Danita, Josie and Memaw at Memorial Park for some quick play time. We seemed to have a knack for arriving at the park right before it is ready to close. The kids ran non-stop and exhausted all that extra built up energy...what more can a parent ask for?

The girl's cousin, Josie and Aunt Danita came down to visit. The girls were besides themselves they were so excited to play with Josie. Izzie would forget at times that Josie is still a baby and just because she can stand, she can not walk yet. It was good practice for Izzie to play with someone younger than herself. Most of the kids she plays with are either her age or older.

Quack Quack...Got Bread?

I took Isabelle on a play date at Memorial Park to see the animals and feed the ducks. It was a hot day, but the sun was shining and we had fun with our friends.

Sit Boo Boo Sit

We were at MeMaw's and Isabelle took the baby gate and made a little kennel and told me she was a puppy. She barks, sits, and even does a few tricks. She thought it was hilarious and I played along.

Tree Huggers

We couldn't help ourselves, this tree had 'climb me' written all over it.

Oh! Somebody Went Off The Road

We were hiking on the trail when we noticed above on the hill a old car similar to a model you would see in the 1950s had rolled down the hill and landed on a tree. It brought me back in time for a second and I could not help but wonder if the passengers were okay back then. It is always interesting finding pieces of history during our hikes.

Hiking On The AT

We went to Amicolola Falls State Park and went hiking. It was a good mix of paved and back trail hiking. The kids had a blast. We brought Mr. Porky with along with our dog, Marlin. The water falls were beautiful!!
