We rang in Independence Day at Julee and Gordon's. Delicious food (as always) and great company (also as always)! We all had a fabulous time! Ate, were merry, ate some more, and then we got the slip and slide out for the kids. It wasn't a party until I put some dish soap on it...then the fun started. I had to hold everything back to not run and fling myself down the slip and slide. It looked like so much fun and I really had wished I was a kid in that single moment. Afterwards, the kids held sparklers, threw pops and then Gordon gave us a nice fireworks display in the cul-de-sac.
