Our 10th Wedding Anniversary!
We celebrated our 10th anniversary in Two Harbors. Grandma watched the kids at the cottage. We found out that Michelle and Tommy had a reservation at the same restaurant that we made reservations to...it was bound to happen as it was the closest fine dining restaurant. The food was A-MAZ-ING! The seabass was out of this world!!

Lake Superior Views

We stayed at the Larsmont Cottages on Lake Superior in Two Harbors, MN where Michelle's wedding took place. The views were absolutely amazing! The fire pits were right next to the water and we would lay out on the rocks in the middle of the night to look at all the stars. I've never seen so many stars in my life!

Amelia's After Party
Amelia Clara's Baptism
We attended my friend, Julee's baby, Amelia's baptism at Central Presb. It was a wonderful ceremony and service and Amelia did so well. I got Amelia a cute little bonnet to wear and the box said that she wears it to her baptism and then years down the road snip a couple strings and the bonnet turns into a beautiful hankerchif to use on her wedding day.

Tea Party with The Sweeteas
We along with MeMaw went to Plain Janes Boutique (my new favorite shop in 5 points) for an exclusive tea party with Author, Rochelle Frazier who wrote and illustrated the fabulous Southern delight called Sweeteas and she has a whole series of wonderful books. I am just a sucker for all things Southern! One of my favorite lines in the book is, "These are the things every Southern girls should know, 'cause it's true the farther South, the sweeter they grow!" Of course, I absolutely love the Southern phrase, "I declare" and will make every effort to use it in my day to day vocabulary. I think it will jive nicely with my "you betcha" and "rivah" thanks to my time lived in Minnesota and Virginia...add a little Georgia in the mix and voila! You've gotcha a fine Minne-Virg-Georgia accent. Check out her blog: www.thesweeteas.blogspot.com.
