Make A Wish

Check out Alexis' Fur Real Pet Puppy and toy horse. She made sure they were at the table to watch her blow out her candles. I wonder if kids think Toy Story is real? Then again, I have often wondered that myself...I never leave teddy bear, Henry on the floor. Henry is my version of Woody.

Happy Birthday Lexie Poo!

My baby is 6! She reads, she writes, she is growing like a weed...she amazes me everyday! Everyone was right when they said time flies by faster when you have kids. When things get stressful, I need to stop and just enjoy every moment because my kids are literally growing before my eyes.

Dear Alexis,
On every September 14th of every year, it brings me back to the day you were born. It was an amazing day (a bit stressful due to the circumstances) but nonetheless a day that was filled with joy and The Day that made me a "Mom". I remember that day like it was yesterday. I knew that You were a gift from God and that God answered our prayers for a healthy baby. You have been my little buddy from day 1. Happy Birthday Alexis!! Thank you for bringing so much joy, laughter and happiness into our lives. We will always be proud of you!!

The Hammering Has Stopped!

Finally, after 3 days of non-stop hammering and banging from the roofers, it is finally peace and quiet around here. This sure made it interesting trying to take calls at home for work. Well, the best part...no more leaky roof. Isn't it pretty? Thanks Amanda!

A Stroll In 5 Points

We took a nice walk in Five Points and stopped at Two Story Coffeehouse. Marlin enjoyed the walk and the girls found an "UGA Dog" to play on. The weather was absolutely perfect, sunny and comfortable. We couldn't ask for a better day.

Race Day

We went to Memorial Park to cheer Melissa on as she ran a 5k race. I have retired from the sport of running for now and have taken on the spectator sport of cheering.

G-E-O-R-G-I-A......Go Dawgs!!

First game of the season: GA (Home) vs Louisiana-Lafayette, 55 to 7 was the final score. Kicking their bootie would be an understatement. Earlier today was the tailgate and also running of the dawgs...people bring their bulldog pets to the field. I had to work :-( but Dane had some great bonding time with our girls.

The girls got their photo taken with UGA Police Sgt. They thought it was really cool he got to drive a 4-wheeler. The girls also got their photo taken with a female soldier. Such a nice girl, we will be keeping her safety in our prayers. By kick-off Dane said the stadium was full and sold out as usual. I was curious to find out just how many seats are in the stadium? Thanks to Wikipedia, Sanford Stadium is a "92,746-seat stadium and is the seventh largest stadium in the NCAA." I guess that makes sense as to why parking and traffic is ridiculous on home game days.

Happy 1st Birthday Lillian Grace!

We were lucky enough to celebrate Lilly's 1st birthday! Lilly is truly a blessing from God and is one tough cookie. She had a rough start, but she is a bright little girl. We are all looking forward to watching her growing.
