Christmas Eve

Its Christmas Eve!!! We went to mass and then went over to Kathy and Tim's for dinner. Heather, Ryan and Olivia were also there. MeMaw and Papaw are in MN so it was nice spending time with our friends.

Visit to Santa's Workshop

We took Lexie and Izzie to see Santa and his workshop. Their picture turned out really cute. Lexie asked for Zhu Zhu pets for Christmas. Santa better start working on those, there is a huge shortage right now!

Making Izzie's Christmas Present

Lexie and Daddy decided to make Izzie a special present for Christmas. They built a stool personalized with her name on it. That way she can reach the toilet and sink herself. As an added bonus, Lexie enjoyed her special bonding time with Daddy.

Pre-K Christmas Party

As a Room Rep in Lexie's classroom, I get to help plan all of the parties. I especially had fun planning and volunteering for the Christmas party. The kids all had a great time. We had a yummy snack, made a craft (homemade picture frame w/ magnet) and Miss Napoli inserted a picture of each child for their frame to give to their parents. When I volunteer, its a package deal so Izzie enjoyed the festivities as well. I can tell she is so excited to go to the "big kid school" with Lexie soon.

Making Christmas Cookies

We baked a variety of Christmas cookies and the favorite was making the Russian Tea Cookies and the girls rolled them in the powdered sugar. I think Izzie ate more than she made. I really enjoyed myself as I made cookies with my daughters. It reminded me of memories I have making Christmas cookies every year with my sister at our Grandma's house. Fond memories!!

Making Smores

We decided to have the kids make smores on the grill. They were so excited. The photo doesn't really capture the picture of Alexis holding the marshmellows and Izzie holding the graham crackers as they both did a happy dance in the kitchen. We made a nice sticky mess but had fun doing it!

St. Joe's Prek Christmas Pageant

Alexis played Mary in her school Christmas pageant. She remembered her line and did fantastic. We could tell she was enjoying herself up on stage. Dane and I were the proud parents in the front row!!

My Little Gymnist

Isabelle is really excelling at Gymnastics for such a young age. She loves it! Her favorite thing to do is the rings and jumping on the long trampoline. She is a little Gym Dog in training. I just signed both girls up for Gymnastics again. Alexis really seemed to enjoy Gymnastics as well. She has incredible balance.

Duo Baby Shower

We had a duo baby shower at my friend Ginny's gorgeous home for our friends, Jenny and Daniela. Both are due in January. I am so excited to find out what Jenny is having. She decided to wait and it be a surprise. Daniela is expecting a little girl and I know she will be absolutely gorgeous. We had all of our CRHP sisters from church there to celebrate. My Newly-Mom Trivia Game was a hit.

New Big Kid Beds

The girls have finally graduated to "Big Girl Beds". A huge THANK YOU to Dana, Doug, and family and Bob, Anne, and Nick who all contributed to the "Bunk Bed Fund" for this Christmas. We picked up the bunk beds (that we separated into twin beds for now) in a tiny town called Ball Ground, GA. We love them! The girls have both been sleeping so well in their new beds. I actually have to wake them up in the morning because they say they are too comfy. THANK YOU Dana and family for the adorable, matching comforters, sheets, shams, and curtain. It just adds that finishing touch to their bedroom. The colors are perfect. Thank you...Thank you...Thank you!!!!!!!

Fun Times At MeMaw & Papaw's

The girls played games and the boys went outside with Dane and played Capture The Flag. Alexis just adores her older cousin, Christina. I caught a picture of them going over the ABCs. Christina is always such a help with the girls and I think she truly enjoys being around Lexie and Izzie even though they are much younger.

We had all the boys over for a sleepover. I got a glimpse of what it would be like if I had 6 children. Adam, Daniel, Jonathan, Matthew, plus my 2 girls were all over. Dane took the boys boxing in the garage while I got the girls to bed. Once they got back we watched a movie, and played the game RISK. We had a lot of fun.

A Day At The Farm

Thanksgiving at the Farm

While the Beirne's were here visiting we went over to Daniel & Teresa's farm for the day and rode horses. Izzie got on a horse for the first time. She was so excited!! Alexis was a natural. It won't be long and she will be posting and maybe even showing one day.
